The following are outfitters or preserves that I use and highly recommend.  I've included a slide show that should give you a good idea of the layout of the area.

No matter how hard we chase wild birds, we still enjoy getting the dogs on a quality hunting preserve.  Sometimes its for training purposes, conditioning, or just a good excuse to have a good time.CC Partridge Patch in Estil Springs, TN located at the foot of the Cumberland Plateau in southeast TN is an absolute joy, whether your working young dogs getting them ready for the upcoming season, or wanting to give those veterans an opportunity to strut there stuff, this is the place to come.  The Barstad's run a first class operation devoted to raising quality birds.  They do the whole deal, from egg to mature flyers.  And it shows in the field, I've never found any birds any better.  Strong, healthy full bodied birds are the norm and I always look forward to enjoying them on the table almost as much as I do in the field.  They specialize in quail, pheasant, and chuckar.  To see the slide show follow the link.

I've been a big fan of hunting in the great state of Kansas for quite some time and really enjoy freelancing and taking advantage of the states Walk in Hunting Areas, but hunting with Jim Call at Call of the Wild Outfitters was one of the best decisions I"ve made in a long time.  It would take you ten seasons to hunt all the private land he has available for pheasant and quail.  Located next to Quivera National Waterfowl refuge and just down the road from Cheyenne Bottoms, waterfowl are plentiful to say the least.  His accomodations are also top notch.  Your not going to find a big lodge full of mounts and fine dining where guests spend there time talking about hunting.  A hot full breakfast early enough for the most ambitious waterfowlers, a light lunch to keep you going, and a full dinner with dessert and a warm cup of coffee to finish the day, were the perfect compliment to the superior hunting opportunities we were provided, and an experience I hope to repeat for many years to come.  Click here for a video of our goose hunt.....
